Your Journey

Your journey with Aesthetic Avenue will consist of:

  • Initial Consultation: we’ll discuss how a significant portion of fat cells in the targeted area can be addressed with each session.

  • 1 to 6 Treatments: based on individual factors and the specific area concerned.

We will tailor your treatment plan during the consultation, taking in account your aesthetic goals, the areas you wish to improve, and the advised number of sessions to achieve the best possible results.

  • Results are typically seen 4 - 6 weeks post-treatment, however, please allow 12 weeks for all fat cells to be cleared for the area and to assess your final result.

    Please allow downtime for this procedure 1-2 weeks for swelling to subside.

    Swelling is a good indicator that the treatment is working.

    * No Swelling = no fat removal

    * More swelling = more fat being removed

  • Fat dissolving injections are considered safe to use when administered by a medical professional. As with all medical procedures, there are side effects and risks.

    You may experience some mild discomfort during the injection process, but this is generally well tolerated. Side effects include bruising, swelling, redness, tenderness and a warmth sensation in the treated area. Potential but uncommon complications: nerve injury, slight difficulty swallowing, skin infection, lumpiness post injection, allergic reaction.

  • Pain is a very subjective experience and each individual has a different pain threshold. At Aesthetic Avenue we aim to make you as comfortable as possible during your procedure. We utilise strong topical anaesthetic, ice, stress balls and distraction induced analgesia (vibration device).

  • We allow 30 - 45 minutes for the procedure depending on the area being treated.

    All appointments allow time for a consultation prior to treatment to discuss your concerns, devise a treatment plan and answer any questions.

  • Unfortunately we cannot treat anyone under the age of 18, even with parental consent.

  • No, you cannot have any cosmetic injectables treatments. It is unethical to perform studies on pregnant or breastfeeding women - as such, there is no evidence to suggest it is safe for your babe. However, we can still undergo a consultation where we tailor a treatment plan for when you’re able to proceed.

  • We accept cash, card, ZipPay and Afterpay. There is a surcharge on some of these payment methods.

    We also offer TLC payment plans from $2,000 to $50,000. Simply contact the clinic to discuss next steps!

  • As a mother of 3, Nurse Raluka is very understanding. You are welcome to bring your child/children or a friend to your appointment. Please notify the clinic if bringing children so extra time can be allocated to your appointment. Please ensure your younger children are self secured in a pram or are at an age where they can sit for the duration of your appointment.
